I am traveling down to London next Sunday and i am very exited, I have lots planned and lots to squeeze in to the week. I am very looking forward to hitting the vintage shops and markets which London are famous for. I am also very exited to so see supermarket Sarah in selfrides which was launched only this month.

Sadly this week 4 days and 4 month's after my loving grandma died I lost my grandad. This has come as a big and sudden shock, but as he said to us all this is not the end but the beginning of a new start wherever that may be. With all this happening I am finding it very hard making art work. I just feel my Art fairy has gone.
I first started to enjoy art one night when I was taken to my grandma and grandad house to be baby sat.After my grandma had gone to bed my grandad moved over to the sofa and helped me draw the pot dog on the fireplace.
From that day I sketched, painted, sewed  and anything else I could get my self involved with ...
I know my Grandparent was very much pound of me and my work,

I just very much hope my Art fairy comes back soon...

Etsy...

Image above is of some of my hair slides on my etsy site.

Last summer I started my online Etsy business. (http://www.etsy.com/shop/rosieslittleshop) where I sell my handmade jewellery and other accessory's. In the summer time I pack up my RosieRibbon jewellery and accessory's and sell them in school fair, summer fairs and vintage markets. I am trying to get my stuff out there!...
Using Etsy it has allowed my jewellery to travel around the world, I post a lot of my jewellery to America, which i think is amazing! how people millions of miles away are wearing my handmade things!!!
Today I have sold 3 things which I am very happy about  and got a new fair booked for 2nd April which should go well.
I am wanting to do more of this stuff and trying to incorporate this in my Fine Art For Design work. I have been making travel related jewellery, for example jet2,Ryanair, easy jet necklaces...
I am finding this very interesting as its helping me develop my interests and wanting to make my jewellery stand out to others.

 This as you know if my first blog to the big wide world!
You will have to bear with me ...
Today we was going back to basics and learning how to paint again using just black and white acyclic, I am finding this very helpful as you never get told how to paint at school. Everyone thinks that you can paint, and to tell the truth I CANT to save my life. Give me back a sewing machine any day!!!
However I am wanting to try and work on it...
and who else to paint but.........
